π£ Time to niche down and open the "Newsletter Circle" era!
Relaunching "Digiboarding" as "Newsletter Circle"
π£ A Newsletter About Newsletters
When it comes to content creation, it is critical to find your niche, as I have always highlighted.
However, it doesnβt happen overnight and doesnβt become clear before starting somewhere. The more you chase it, the less visible it becomes. Most of the time, you understand the area you need to focus on while youβre on the way.
It also happened to me exactly like this. I just hit the road and started Digiboarding to share what I learned about online business.
In 17 issues I have shared so far, I talked about various topics like the build-in public, side hustles, monetization of content, content marketing, and niche sites. I share resources and tools that I find helpful.
However, it was too broad and lack of focus to proceed like this.
So, I decided to focus on one area I like to talk about most: NEWSLETTERS.
As of Jan 8th, 2023, on every Sunday,
I will share interviews with other newsletter creators on how to start, grow and monetize a newsletter for solo creators.
It will be the newsletter about newsletters.
WHY I CHOSE THE NEWSLETTER AREA AND WHY INTERVIEWS
I want to encourage and help anyone who is eager to start and grow a newsletter because writing a newsletter is the most convenient way for anyone who wants to be on the active creation side instead of the passive consumption side.
There are no entry barriers, no cost and easy to set up.
Additionally, it is different than a blog since you build an e-mail list which is the most valuable asset in todayβs online world. This means that you are less dependent on algorithms and have a chance to build a business in the content area that you own. You are the landlord, not the renter.
Starting is easy but growing and monetizing a newsletter is not easy. There is
a lot to learn and discuss and a need for more resources in that area.
Running a newsletter requires patience, consistency and resilience. It is not easy to hold on and even harder if you are a solo creator, so it is important to learn and get inspiration from others. There are thousands of amazing newsletter creators who put their blood and sweat into running a newsletter. I want their stories, learnings and experiences to be heard via interviews so we can grow together.
I have been learning much about newsletters since the beginning of the Digiboarding journey and am willing to share my knowledge and experience. It will be a build in public initiative, so you will follow my journey as well.
In time, I want Newsletter Circle to turn into a community for solo newsletter creators who support each other and grow together.
I am full of ideas and excited like crazy for the new chapter.
Stay tuned for more to come.
Donβt forget to follow me on LinkedIn and Twitter.
π See you on Sundays!
Good luck on your new journey!
I'm sure this will be a great decision for you!
